Canadians pronounce it correct, just like the British, its pasta there's no H or even a silent H. Britain is the home of English we pronounce it pasta, there is no H.

Pen-nay - and be sure to clearly pronounce BOTH syllables with the same emphasis. Otherwise, you're saying "penis"

You pronounce it as two syllables: "pen-nay" with the accent on the first, and a little extra pause on the "n" because of the double "n".
