If you are a skeptic of global warming, go to the url below for what the U.S. National Academy of Sciences has to say about global warming. The U.S. National Academy of Sciences is made up of 2,000 members elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research, of whom more than 200 have won Nobel Prizes.
Then look over some of the other information on the website.
Those who are concerned about global warming will also find this site worth looking at.

I'm thinking, since you added "LOL" to your question that you meant it as a joke. That would be appropriate. What amazes me are the number of respondents who took your question seriously. Despite the mounting evidence for global warming (take a trip to the Arctic if you still have doubts), many still seem determined to see this as some kind of self-aggrandizing power play by Al Gore. I suppose if Al Gore saved one of these right-wing Neanderthals from getting shot by a mugger he'd only be doing it for the publicity. Don't do it, Al.

Losing the Presidency was so devastating to Gore's ego that he needed something to fill the void.

As you can see from his huge frame now, he initially filled that void with food. Now he has thrown himself head-first into the fanatical realm of global warming. He needs a cause to champion because losing the Presidency was such a blow. He wants to do something that people will think is important.

A lot of people who stridently defended the theory of global warming have read new, contraditory evidence. Instead of recanting their position, they now have rephrased the situation as "climate change". This allows for the fact that many places are cooler than before, such as the summers in the Czech Republic and the winters in Dubai. Instead of recognizing that the climate is not static, that it has changed continuously over the life of our planet, sometimes much colder and sometimes much warmer, these zealots don't want to give up the Global Warming crusade. If they do, they lose their chance to feel they are doing something good for the planet.

So, what do they say now? "Oh, even if we're wrong about global warming, at least we're doing something good for our planet". Oh yeah? How do they explain that? Africa is far too poor to afford alternative sources of energy. Abiding by some Kyoto Protocol or other such nonsense is the equivalent of dooming them to perpetual poverty.

Gore may also be one of those people who wants wealth redistributed across the globe (as does George Soros). The Global Warming hoax is exactly how that can be accomplished. Richer nations will end up paying huge "carbon credits" that will get funnelled to people who want to equalize the wealth on the planet.

So, we know the primary reason Gore is lying about Global Warming. Even South Park lampooned him, showing him as a pathetic, friendless loser who desperately needs Global Warming to feel important.

Like many public figures Gore thrives on attention. After being relegated to the recycle bin of politics he had to do something to get back into the limelight. The attention the left is lavishing on him is just what he was looking for. After all, he invented the internet and was the inspiration for "Love Story", so he deserves all the adulation from his "consituency". He will be regarded by history as one of the least important politicians.

To make money by selling "Carbon Credits" in a company run by...Al Gore! He is the 21st century equivalent of the "Snake Oil Salesman". He invents an illness, and sells the cure. Only instead of a covered wagon, he travels by private jet.

Better question: Why does the wacked out right LIE about Al Gore?

You guys have a hard time arguing factual data so instead you attack the individual. Typical and pathetic.

To make $ and gain power. To further the global warming agenda of the left by energizing the base. To dethrone the oil and energy industries with insidious lies.
