My Ex had this way of keeping me where he wanted me, i wasnt allowed to go anywhere without him, I really hated it. I wanted to break free, But eventully i became free but i still cant do what id like because of not enough money, lol

My country has no freedom. At age 18, you are FORCED to serve in the military. You can't drink. You can't date people. Your parents choose who you marry. They can sell you off to marriage at age 7. Girls have to wear veils. I have never had a girlfriend, and they monitor the Internet. I have never gone to you-tube, myspace, flickr, any women's wrights sites, and they have recently banned google. 96% of all internet sites in Iran are blocked. And to top it off, you can't leave the country, unless you were born in a diffrent country, and already have a passport.

Trapped from what? sounds like a nightmare unfolding. an exciting write. L4S2 seems 'tough' in meter, must be me. L4S3 'bleeding hindering my get away'? Your first 3 strains of this stanza are sturdy.

I'm a slippery customer and a master of elusiveness .
No matter what anybody does they will never catch me or pin me down. To catch me is like to try to catch a shadow.
Even society as a whole hasn't managed to take hold of me imagine how impossible is for single person to do it!
However for you is difficult because of your large family but at least you managed to slip away from your oppressive ex. That's freedom enough.

I'm in the same boat you were. My husband is 8 years older than me and treats me like a 3 year old. If I go anywhere, before I leave, I have to listen to a safety lecture and get told who I can and who I can't talk to and so forth.

Good for you for getting away from that tinkz, you should never feel trapped by someone like that. I feel trapped most of the time, trapped by problems that I can't sort out. I am looking forward to that free feeling I will have when I can get away from it all.

i used to feel trapped because i didn't know what i wanted!! but now i have a purpose in life and I'm glad i found who i am! true i need Lot's of time to be the person i always dreamed of being but i will never give up ..at least not in my youthful age !

I was a few months agowith my Ex of 18 years whom I haven't loved for the past 4 years.....
But not anymore...I'm in love with a wonderful man who truly loves me and would never make me feel trapped....

None of us are actually totally free to do what we wish. We all have responsibilities and obligations, some more than others.
I do not feel trapped for I have many choices I can make and things I can do. : )
