no. thats why its called falling in love because its something you can't really control( the feeling i mean). You can resist for whatever reasons or claims you have but you are only kidding yourself. Falling in love usually entails being attracted to the person physically and a persons race defines his appearance. Initially, if you are not attracted to the person physically the chances of you falling in love with him lessens.
If you fall in love with him because of his personality then its even better because you are looking beyond appearance. If you are thinking cultural differences as a reason to not fall in love then maybe you really are not in love and are looking for a lover/companion because you are letting your mind feel for you. Your mind cannot feel emotions, it can judge and decide, once the mind starts gaining control of your emotions then it is not love but more of an infatuation or an enjoyment /satisfaction of the feeling of being in love. If people truly remember what it feels like to be in love and to fall in love, the feeling is usually "you and me against the world" type of thing where in you feel you can surpass anything.

when u fall love with a person..ur not looking at what color their skin is....ur looking at the person they are inside and all the reason u fell in love with them...and race should never be an issue....God made all of us equaly beautiful, that's why we come is so many amazing colors....so if race is an issue for you then, u've got bigger things to worry about.

No it shouldn't matter at all... If you love someone of a different race, the color of their skin doesn't matter.. its what is on the inside that counts.

It should never matter. My husband is black and we are very happy and very much in love. You do need to know that certain ignorant people will have a problem with it, but that's their problem not yours.
Just be yourselves and be happy, don't ever feel like you can't be proud of who you are and who you're with. Good luck

It doesn't matter, but people of other races simply aren't my type. In fact, most of the people of my race aren't my type!

Nope... it's never mattered to me.
... although I do have "preferences" for what I'm attracted to (or not attracted to) - I don't make it a general rule to limit myself by race.
