I know at one time there was a product called "Instead" which is actually an alternative to a tampon or pad for menstruation, as opposed to a contraceptive like the sponge (which I thought was taken off the market). It's supposed to be more like a cup, like a reverse diaphraghm, to catch your menstrual flow for an extended period of time. Good luck!

Someone told you WRONG! you have a period for a reason....to cleanse you body and to remove foreign substances in you body. According to alot of doctors sex while on your cycle is not a great idea because like I said your body is going through a cleaning cycle. But if you choose to do so then I would recommend the shower

Um, you can't. Either wait until after Aunt Flo leaves OR have sex with it. Put down a towel and make sure you use a condom. Take a shower afterwards and wash the towel and/or sheets.

honestly i dont think this is the best idea. id say wait until youre done your period and then have sex. if youre willing to have sex while youre on your period then dont use anything and just use a condom. make sure you use something though because you can still get pregnant while youre on your period even though its a slim chance.

You can't stop your flow, but you can have sex while having your period. Just put a towel down or do it in the shower/tub.

You can't stop it once it has started. You just have to let it run its course.
You CAN have sex while you have your period. You won't get any infections from it. However, you SHOULD use birth control, because it is possible to get pregnant even when you have your period. (It happened to my cousin). Plus, having an orgasm can help with your cramps.
