He is up there in all the major categories and started the season as a number 5 starter. I think he ends up with 19 wins.

I think CC is better and deserves it more but Carmona isn't getting the respect he deserves. He has the lowest ERA in the AL and I have heard people comment on his stuff has I have never heard before.

Consideration for sure. Serious. It will be a tight race, with guys like his teammate Sabathia, Escobar in LA, and Beckett in Boston. Likely Wang for NY will get a few nods. Carmona's ERA is tops among them I think, but his K's aren't very high. After Carmona's 1-10 year last season he sure qualifies as best bounce back season.
Peavy is looking real strong for the NL Cy too.

Well....
People here will say no unless he is wearing a Yankee or Red Sox uniform. But.. I say no because the Cy Young winner to be already plays on Cleveland. Sabathia has been unreal the last 2 months, and solid all year. He should win.

Without a doubt he deserves some votes. I think he's going to be hurt in the running by his teammate CC Sabathia getting a lot of votes as well though.

Deserving yes, but he is not even the best pitcher on his own team.
