thats it.

Farve has been a shell of himself in the last few season all though I must admit he is doing well this season. They don't want to be the organization that tells a hall of fame qb that he can't play with them anymore.

We, Packer Fans, don't think Favre is a "god".

We, fans, know that when the ball is in Bretts hands, we always have a chance of winning. He has made phenominal throws over his career that never should have been completed in the first place.

Since Brett came to GB in 1992, the Pack have never looked back! Why would the Pack organization want to change that now? He is a legend before our eyes as we all know he will be in the hall of fame some day. There is no need to get rid of Favre. Age is just a number and he is healthier than all these young QB's and players in the league.

That is not why fans buy tickets to the game either. The games have been sold out for many many years due to them being owned by season ticket holders. I went to a game at Lambeau last year, row 4 behind the Pack bench, and spent $1000 on 4 tickets. There is no better place to watch a Packer game than at Lambeau field with all the history. Packer fans are dedicated to their team and their QB #4. We all love watching Favre on the field, week after week and watch him work his magic with a mediocre team.

Go Pack Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

David (the one below me) you are an idiot. The only reason you think the Pack should trade Favre is because he is a great player. Favre is a franchise player and will never leave the Green and Gold until he is ready to hang it up for good. It sucks when your team can't have a good QB like the Pack has...now doesn't it? BTW, Favre plays for the love of the game and not for the paycheck anyways. He has more money than he knows what to do with. No, the Pack aren't far away from being contenders especially with how terrible the NFC is to begin with.

i dont understand why they dont trade himto a team that would overpay for him at this point in his career.look montana was a god and the 49ers traded him right?id be willing to bet the bears would have won the superbowl last year they had favre at qb instead of grossman and im willing to bet the bears would come off of a high draft pick to get favre to win a superbowl.the packers are several players away from being a contender and need more draft picks so i say trade favre.

hey luv to vacation im a cowboys fan and i hate the bears but im a big favre fan and id love to see him get another ring before he retires...as long as he doesnt beat my cowboys.tony romo's childhood hero was favre and he plays like favre too. and im not an idiot for saying the bears would give their number 1 pick for a world title.

no, the packers wont trade favre because he gives the team hope for victory every time he touches the ball. on top of that, aaron rodgers isnt quite ready to take over yet. he did show improvement over preseason and will probably take over next season.

My guess is, when a quarter back racks up the numbers like he has, greenbay

like any other nfl team keeps their qb until retirement.
