A little over a week ago, my boyfriend and I had sex multiple times during my period. He ejaculated in me every time we had sex. My cycle lasted four days and the day after I started having what felt like ovulation cramps. Ive been told that women dont usaully ovulate right after their period but I am concerned because My period came a week early and lately I am having slight symptoms. My breaasts have had sudden pains and my nipples feel more sensitive than usaul. I took a HPT early this week but it came out negative. I think it mightve been too soon to check. Maybe I am being paranoid and its all in my head but I am anxious and need to find out soon. I am in my mid 20's and I plan to keep the baby if I am. I am just curious to find out soon.

I am a stable working woman and my boyfriend is stable in his career. We dont believe in marriage and we love eachother very much. Our plans to keep this baby are of our concern, I would appreciate it if people left their personal views of my possible babies future to themselves.(Penelope and any others who have an ignorant opinion of my personal life)

My boyfriend knows and is very supportive. He rubs my belly every night before we go to sleep. we love eachother. so do anymore people have something mean and ignorant things to say to me? we dont believe in marriage. Times have changed, yes. Its called the 21st century. Many things have changes. I have a doctors appointment for next weds. Many doctors answer these questions online.

Hello Chris..
The chances of you being pregnant are very less, we can say negligible. This is because during the periods the ovulation does not occur. Ovulation occurs about two weeks after the period, that is it coccurs in mid-cycle, and many times is associated with pain in the inguinal regions, the side determined by which ovary is shedding the egg.
The tenderness and the hypersensitvity of the nipples is normal at this age, because of harmonal changes.
The test has to be repeated about ten days after your next period is due....that is the period after the coitus. Only that time its results will be taken into consideration.
The other method is to go for an ultrasound scan whcih will tell you about your pregnancy status.
Well good luck..I think this is enough, or you can ask me more.

Let me add this thing also...
The safe period for coitus is considered ..the period one week after the menstrual period and one week before the menstrual period.
But nothing is safe..The sperm can fertillize an egg even after seven days..this is for Steph J.

Well, you COULD be. Every woman's ovulation cycle is different. In general, I believe a week after the period or so is ovulation time (the egg has to travel down the fallopian tube a bit to be fertilized and the walls of the uterus have to build up enough lining to support implantation), but everyone is different. It probably is too early for a test to read anything. The best tests can read maybe 4-5 days before a missed period, otherwise the hormone which they screen for is too small to read. You'll have an anxious month, that's for sure. Is it too late to take Plan B?

it is possible but unlikely. there is a chance though because some women ovulate at the very end of their period, and sperm can be alive for up to 3 days and this increases the chance of becoming pregnant.

youre going to have to wait until before your next period to take a HPT, first response can tell you 5 days before your missed period. if you are planning on keeping the baby just wait and be patient to take a test. good luck

My, how times have changed! This is the sort of information only your doctor and husband would know but here you are, giving out details (that I can't imagine anyone would want to know) to the general public! Not only that, but you're not even married!

So you're having pre-marital sex, without contraception, and clearly with very little understanding of your own body; a baby could be on the way, and if it is, you're planning to keep it regardless what the father might want, and what might be best for the baby!

Why so anxious? Boyfriend not likely to stay around? Family won't be impressed? Not financially secure? Not ready for the responsibility of a child?

Then why are you having sex without contraceptives?

You should seek answers from a DOCTOR, not Joe Public!
Then you should wake up and wise up! What makes you think the sex you're having is even safe?

The best you could have gotten from this guy is his word - which he can give to other girls just as easily. Maybe you like the arrangement because it allows *you* to have a bit on the side if you feel like it - but so can he! If you don't do this, does that mean *he* won't?

By being so open about your sex life it's obvious that you can see no possible wrong in it. Let me tell you something: there will be many people who think you have the moral values of an alley cat.

Well I would just test yourself for peace of mind. Just to let you know my wife and I had sex while we were dating for 4 years especially when she was on her period (only time I could without a condom) we thought she couldn't get pregnant, well obviosly there is a chance (I think you know that now) but I never got her pregnant so chances are on your side. Good luck.

Absolutely, I have a five year old to prove it. Ovulating two weeks after menstruating is an average. It is not a steadfast rule for the entire population. You can get pregnant anytime you have sex.

It is highly unlikely that you got pregnant if that was your true period.

You should wait until your period is at least a week late until trying to test again to get the actual result.

It is 100% not possible to get pregnant while on your period! Forgive me if Im wrong but it almost sounds like you want to get pregnant? Ask yourself this, can you see yourself with this guy for the rest of your life? can he put a roof over your head and child and feed you and clothe you till this child is old enough to go to school? And dont tell me you will ship your kid off to day care! If you have a kid make sure you, not some stranger stays home with him or her, I just cant stand it when I hear people say their gonna have a child and then turn it over to a day care center for someone else to raise. I know Im kinda gettin off our topic but I kinda get the impression that you mentally want a child and I dont think you are ready, why else would you not protect yourself during sex? regardless you are not pregnant, Ive never heard of anyone getting pregnant while on their period. Remember dont be selfish, dont get pregnant unless your boyfriend is ready and you have a ring and a date! You know, have ya ever heard of getting married before having a child?

Rule one: The internet can't tell you what an accurate pregnancy test can.

If you're concerned, you should go to your doctor, not Yahoo Answers.
