First of all, who did you sell him to? If it was a direct sale, I would expect that you have contact information for the person who bought the horse. If the horse has been re-sold since, this would be the best person to touch base with first, but he might not be able to willing to give you the new owner's contact information. Unless you had a stipulation in your sales contract that you should be contacted if the horse was going to be sold and given first refusal, you don't have a right to the contact information.

If the horse was sold at action, it gets a lot trickier. The auction should hold a record of the sale, but you might not be able to get the buyer information depending on the auction policies.

The other option, and it's a real longshot is to check against the tattooed number on the horse (it would be under his upper lip) and you can check with the Jockey Club registry to see if there is any update on the horse's status. Unfortunately if a horse isn't racing, they may not have any information for you.

it style of feels to me that alot of the solutions to this question have sterotyped human beings interior the industry. this is undesirable information, all of it! The horses death and the incontrovertible fact that it will slowly wreck the industry because it has in Australia. Jumps racing is only allowed in 2 Australian states and except the death stats are saved down and having a raffle and attendance up than it gets canned all jointly. And luckily the industry is doing all it could to maintain the sport going. a worldwide learn into the sport needs to be finished, to make it safer! There are alot of factors that impression the pastime, breeding, tracks, jumps etc. As we are all dealing with a similar destiny if some thing isnt finished! regrettably there are incredibly some undesirable eggs interior the industry that do do it thinking the greed, yet there are too many human beings in contact that do love horses and the pastime to paint the completed industry with that brush!! i've got worked interior the industry for a trouble-free jointly as now and cant think of of anybody in specific i be attentive to that's doing it for the greed, it expenditures thank you to lots funds!!! we adore horses and we adore racing! additionally its no longer "greed" that's asserting this yet in maximum circumstances it is not commercially justifiable to maintain a horse with a broken leg, and as harsh as that sounds that's how the industry works. It does paintings with funds and properly we cant have horses sitting in paddocks doing no longer something and we cant continuously placed a horse in a position the place they are in a position to stay lifelike that! some human beings would think of those comments are hypocritical yet its annoying to truly understand except you paintings in this industry, and that i found that out myself.

That description fits a lot of horses. and not to be a downer but he is not longer your horse since you sold him. Did you try looking at the results of a local jumper show? Maybe he will pop up there.

Do you have bill of sale records - it should show his Tattoo - race horses are generally tattooed on the insides of their upper lips.

That's a good way to start looking for your horse.

Follow the trail of sale. Who'd you sell him to? Call them. Then just follow to see where he is. Your description will NEVER find him on here! Sorry! Also, if reg TB run his reg name through the registry, see who the owners are!
