hi ladies!! i'm 20 wks pregnant & lately i can't breathe normally! it is very weird because i have to take the deepest breathes to feel like i'm actually getting any oxygen in!

Has/Did this happened to you??

it's so annoying because it feels so bad!! it get worse when i'm laying down or i drink a cup of coffe or a coke.. Could this have to do with caffeine? i don't drink too much, only a cup of coffee or 1 coke if i do.. & sometimes i can't sleep & have to sit down because of this!! Help!!

This is very common at about 20 weeks. It'll last until the baby drops or you give birth, and it should get less noticeable after a while. Of course, untreated asthma during pregnancy is not good and asthma while pregnant is very treatable. If this continues take it up with your doctor.

talk to your doc about it, sometimes i have felt like that and im 39 weeks and 5 days, and it seems like only when i lay on my back i cant breath, but i beleive its because the baby is putting alot of pressure on your insides which doesnt let your lungs expand to the fullest, therefore you cant breathe as well, nothing to really worry about, but id talk to the doc, better safe then srry..good luck

i've had the same problem except that i'm only 6 wks. it recently stopped but in your case i'd ask the doctor. better safe than sorry.

i'd say it's pretty normal. I got winded just carrying on a conversation. that baby is squishing your lungs and has decreased your lung capacity

yes this is common! when i was pregnant it was hard to catch my breath also.

this is a medical issue that only your doctor should address please call your doctor asap and talk to them its what your paying them for
