Next month I need to get across London to meet my brother who will be driving along the M25 west and north sector between J12 (M3) and J27 (M11).

Is there an underground station or overline station with frequent service within a few miles of an M25 junction in this sector?

Depends where you are coming from.
Potters Bar and Waltham Cross have fast rail links to different parts of London.

Theydon Bois tube station (Central Line) is near to M25 J27 (for M11). It depends where you are starting in Central London as to which would be the most convenient location.

Epping on the central line is not too far from J27.
