I used to be able to wear high heels all day when I was at school, and these days even if I wanted to my feet just end up in agony after a few hours! How can I wear them again? I've tried using these gel pad things but they don't help, and the height of the heel and whether it's a shoe or a boot doesn't matter!

Please help, I'm forever doomed to flats (which aren't very "me") and trainers which are hard to make look tidy!

Thanks
xxx

First off....you need to re-train your feet to the heels. You need to start with about a 2.5 inch heel all day....they aren't too high and shouldn't hurt too much....Once you've mastered that...move to 3 or 3.5 inches.

Second off....the quality of the shoes is VERY important....non-leather shoes do not stretch with your foot. I will only wear quality leather shoes and boots. Even though they cost a bit more...they are worth it as they last forever with proper care.

I buy all my shoes at Victoria's Secrets online.

So...get yourself some quality leather shoes and gradually retrain your feet. It'll come back to you..

ah those gel pad don't work for me either lol. i usually walk around the house with the shoes on and make them more comfortable before i wear them out. It's the arch of the shoe that causing your feet to hurt try to find a shoe that not too high arched.

Its all about the quality of the shoes you buy. Try switching to Manolo's, Jimmy Choos, or Tahari's----I can wear my Tahari's all day and my feet don't hurt. Cheap shoes never feel this good.

You can carry flats with you so when your feet hurt you can change your shoes. Girl, there's nothing worse than your feet hurting. Trust me. . .I know!!

You need to get a pedicure every 15 days, that's how I do it and it actually helps a lot
