I have read something briefly, but I thought it was to do with a certain type of yoga. Essentially the power of `Kundilini` is the power of the serpent that is coiled in the small of the back and when the power is released it travels up the spine, through the nervous system and into the brain bringing enlightenment and apparently taking the soul or conciseness from the body. I can`t recall the persons name at the moment( I`m not so good with names, honest) but on the account, yes of some one I can`t remember, this should be entered into with much caution as it can produce a wasting sickness ( some say there are accounts of this in certain mythologies, The wasting sickness of Cuchulain for example) the cure of which is warmed milk and honey.
