Honey your only 18 think of what your doing and what you would be missing out on. My ex- fiance that passed away had a Vasectomy 1 1/2 before I met him, and after being together for 7 months I got pregnant with my daughter. So that goes to prove that nothing works 100%, they told him he had a 1 in 1000 chances of getting someone pregnant. To me I think that everyone needs atleast 1, but its your choice. the age is 18. THINK HARD TALK TO OTHER PEOPLE FIRST ....

Congratulations! You are making the best choice a young man can ever make! You will never regret it.

It is 18 in all 50 states, so long as you are paying for it. If the state or federal government is paying, then they might say 21, or so. If you have insurance then that complicates things.

Odds are the clinic will tell you that they can’t do it because they are worried about liability. Just go to another clinic, until you find one that will do it.

I got mine at age 21, and no kids. I had to go though three places before I found one that would do it. They only asked if I had all the kids I wanted. I said yes (I wanted zero, to that was good enough). The form asked for my birth date. I adjusted it back by two years so they would think I was 23, but I really don’t think that was needed. They asked if my wife agreed, and I said yes. Legally they can’t verify that you are married, or that she agrees.

I know some other guys that got them in their mid to late 20’s. Many had no children.

BTW: I had my vasectomy 20 years ago. I still use condoms!
