I don't know if I have any tell-tale signs...
But, I can tell you what my great guys have in common...
1.) He has a fantastic relationships with his mother and sisters. In his home, he may display pictures of them and he speaks about them often with great respect and admiration...
2.) His is on good terms with his ex-girlfriends. I would not trust a guy who spoke ill of an ex-girlfriend. There is a difference between saying, "My ex was going through a lot..." And saying, "My ex was a complete psycho..."
3.) He has a female best friend. It shows that he can relate and support...female non-sexual needs...
4.) He respects the 'little' people. He is polite to the taxi drivers, the waiters, the grocery baggers. He appreciates hard work and leaves large tips in kind...
5.) He remembers the little things. Something so small...even you will forget you mentioned it...
6.) He confides in you...a very deep, dark secret. Perhaps, something that puts the relationship at risk...
7.) He asks you for advice...and takes it...
8.) He asks you for advice...and doesn't take it...
And tells you he didn't, but thanks you anyway...
9.) He says, "I'm sorry."
And really means it...
10.) He says, "How are you?"
And really means it too...
And if you're not well...
He wont try to fix you...
But will ask, "What do you need?"

And the best sign of a great person is that they make everyone around them feel great but especially you.
I told you this before. You need to find the person that you can not imagine your life being better without, and; that is the one.
