I love to read! I read several books a month. People of all ages would benefit greatly by turning their TV's off and picking up a book.

Sure do, I've always loved reading. I graduated from college some 20 years ago and I generally read at least one book a week.

what a stupid question. You are posting this in the books and authors section, yes? What do you think. Do people still read books? I'll let you figure that out.

yep, prefer them to reading off of the internet, I actually recently read a book a friend of mine wrote, he had sent it to me via email and I'm planning on printing it off so that I can get a better feel for it. Nothing like the feel of paper, curled up on the settee with a cuppa, chilllin with a good book.

(The Raven are coming back! Woo hoo!)

It's a great way to get lost in a world that you've come to love even though you can actually never go there. I find that is the way it is with me with the book Wicked by Gregory Maguire. A world of make-believe and fantasy that we all grew up with (the Land of Oz) that I can never visit physically, but it's my favorite place to go right before bed and on rainy days! :)
