Because at my school the people are into different things, like reggae, r&b, rap, etc.
Whereas, i'm interested in Rock, Heavy metal, Indie, Like Maximo Park, The View, Korn, My Chemical Romance
I just think it's totally cool to listen to them sorts
And my clothes sence are also my favourite
Like belts with studs and stuff :)
So ya know, what is exacly wrong with being yourself and loving the musics that interests you?!

there is absolutely nothing wrong with rock music at all. Personally I think it's the best form of music but thats my opinion!! Just like whatever music you want don't worry about whatever anyone else says we are all diverse with our musica tastes it would be boring if we all liked the same music!!! By the way I love maximo park too they rock!!!!

People into dance/party music like Rap and R&B have pretty much always been like that since the mid-90s , anyone who doesn't like what they like some how must have something wrong with them.. I've met metal fans that are guilty of the same but to answer your question...

There's nothing wrong with being yourself, simply don't pay attention to them, they aren't worth you doubting the things you do, there is NOTHING wrong with rock

Nothing wrong with that at all, it's much better to be your own individual self than conforming to some trendy stereotype which holds no interest for you, as that would be living a lie!

I Like Heavy Metal and dress in jeans/combat trousers and t-shirts (usually a bands tour shirt) and don't give a damn if I'm "Fashionable" or Not! (more than likely not)

well, i go to a school where they think and don't like the same music as me. They all like Rap, hip-hop, etc where as me I am like you and like rock, metal, alternative, post grunge, etc. so if people don't like how you are you can tell them to kiss your butt. Individuallity is a good thing nowadays since most poeple are becoming robotic and all the sam so stick to being yourself there is nothing wrong with you and rock.... :]

Threre's nothing wrong with it. People who would look down on you for that choice are insecure with the choices they've made and the styles they portray and need to put something else down to make themselves feel like they've risen to a higher standard. If you're happy, and enjoy rock and your style, don't be like them. Acceptance of another's choices makes you socially superior to those who put it all down.

Nothing is wrong with it. I think you are cooler than all the other sheep at your school. they only like that music because they are told that its cool, they arent really forming their own opinions. Rock kicks A##

Most of my family love rock music. The lyrics can be understood and most of the time you can relate with what they are singing about.
If we was all the same, life would be boring.

Nothing is wrong.....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! When I was in high school, most people like me listened to hip-hop...but now, all of us seem to listen to some form of rock now. It's all good.
