I hate to admit it, but nothing and $1. I'm usually a great tipper - unless I get terrible service!

I never tip under a $1. I always tip for every drink I order at a bar, too. I was a cocktail waitress at a casino before and I know that a server has to depend on their tips to pay the bills.

The least amount of money i have tipped a server was seventy five cents but that's because her attitude was really bad and the food was really cold

If I get poor service, they get a note on the back of the check, and I speak with the manager. I used to be a server. I am a big tipper, if I get the service I would give. We went out Friday night and 15% would have been around $3.50. I gave the server almost $8.00. She was great!

hello,
i used to waitress in my day, so of course i'm a good tipper because i know that when u r in the waitress or waiter or bar tender business u count on your tips more than the wage per hour, which is rediculous! so my answer to this question is this, i tip on the way i was treated by my waiter. so if the food was bad i didn't take it out on the waiter-waitress or bartender. if they were good at what they did i would tip 20% & if not & they were rude or not attentive i would tip them 10% of the total due. if they were terrible i would tip them a dollar or less but that has only happened once to me. so that's my answer! a dollar or less! bb,

When we were on vacation in Tybee Island, Georgia we got terrible, rude, HORRIBLE service. We never did get all of our food and NO one's order was right out of six of us. We agreed she did not deserve a tip so we didn't leave one.

The restaurant was not busy and we were not obnoxious.

Nothing, and I also asked to have him removed from our table. I usually tip between 15 and 20 %.

I wrote a "tip" on the receipt.
I am usually a good tipper but this girl was awful..very nasty..I asked her to please leave the water pitcher and she refused! She said she used the pitcher for everyone's drinks and I could not have it! I mean, WATER..people!
Plus she ignored us 99% of the time and wouldn't get us a high chair for our baby..we had to eat with him in our lap.
I wrote her a very nasty "tip"..

2 cents, after waiting at a table 30 minutes with no
server showing up, left "tip' on the table and left.
