The only reason is because there are many other things to talk about now. That all happened in the middle of last week when nothing else was going on. Right now there are many other things to talk about like:
How bad is the Bengals defense?
How overrated are the Chargers?
Discussions about yesterdays games and tonight's game.
If Goodell finds out there have been more instances of cheating, the fines are going to increase and the cheating questions will return.
What is sad is that Belechick is so paranoid that he feels the need to cheat even when he has a good team and is going against a team that the Pats should beat easily.
I mean, why would you need to cheat against the pathetic Jets and last year's Packers (who weren't any good either).

I know. That's why the Patriots will always be a superior team. They let their play on the field do the talking, why players (not all) from other teams whine about how they think they should have won a game they played with the Pats if the Pats where not video-taping.
WARNING: Don't fall into the Patriots trap...the Chargers did and they got clubbered.

I think it's amusing how many bandwagoners are on here. Everyone thought the Chargers were unbeatable, but then they go to New England. Now they're all rooting for Cleveland and the Packers!
I say stick with a team through thick and thin. I've been a fan of one team my entire life, and it will never change (even if I move out of the area).

Thank you..somebody agrees!
The Pats went out and proved themselves as an elite team WITHOUT cheating and now nobody can say anything. The Pats were the favorites before all this and they still are, but now they have people on them saying they can't do it wihout cheating and saying their coach isn't as good as everyone thought. They strive on this they wanna go out there and prove everyone wrong and they're doing a damn god job of it so far.

It's the nature of the beast. Anyone remember Michael Vick?
BUT, it still doesn't chage the fact that Bellicheck knowingly authorized breaking league rules & bacically spit in the league's face with his " apology." He's an arrogant a*s*s, & no, the Fats are not invincible. They'll screw up this season like they always do.

Patriots have enough bulletin board material to last all the way through the playoffs now. Way to go Mangina! Jets lose by 40 when the Patriots play them again in Foxboro.

Well yes they are gone for now.
However, don't forget that Goodell is demanding Belichick's accumulated library of illegally obtained video and notes.
If there is anything hiding in there then this situation could be back all over again.
