Rena, I'm not sure of exactly what you are asking philosophy wise but I was in love once and we both agreed upon the song that was playing at our fist dance "Can't Take my Eyes Off You." I am going to ponder your question some more and I might have another answer.

Song Lyrics - Forever In Blue Jeans
by Neil Diamond.
Money talks
But it don't sing and dance
And it don't walk
And long as I can have you here with me
I'd much rather be
Forever in blue jeans
Honey's sweet
But it ain't nothin' next to baby's treat
And if you pardon me
I'd like to say
We'll do okay
Forever in blue jeans
Maybe tonight
Maybe tonight, you and I
All alone by the fire
Nothing around
But the sound of my heart
And your sighs
Money talks
But it don't sing and dance
And it don't walk
And long as I can have you here with me
I'd much rather be
Forever in blue jeans, babe

"Everything I do, I do it for you ..." by Brian Adams
Or
I may sing

I spent most of my working life travelling, so my Wife and I were frequently apart.
One time when we were apart, but both in the U.K., I paid the "Children in Need", charity, to play "When I Need You",
by Leo Sayer, on BBC radio, dedicated to my Wife. If you don't know this song, it says it all for the guy who is travelling
alone.(If you would like to see the words let me know.)
I also play guitar and do like playing "All I need is the Air that I Breathe and to Love You.
Does this make me a romantic????????

Rena, my dearest heart was killed in a car crash in April of this year. At her memorial, a friend of mine played the song that I thought was most right for her and her journeys here and beyond: Over the Rainbow".

Hi Rena,
Just off the top of my head, Roy Orbison's 'In Dreams' but I would never sing to anyone ... I'd chase them away!
