We should concentrate on OBL and Al Qaeda (BEFORE we get hit again), and we should do it by stealth and spying, not by marching our armies in to countries that didn't attack us in the first place.

No. There is no terror threat if the Dems are elected. The world be in a perfect state if they are elected. All problems would be solved. Iraq would have peace, gas would go to less that $1 a gallon and everybody would get free health care while balancing the budget. A perfect world will ensue.

The so called War on Terror was made into a joke. Every time something came up all of a sudden we were at risk again. Most of these we proven to be untrue or old info. Hilary already stated she would not pull all the troops.

The majority of the Dems I know aren't opposed to the "War on Terror". They just don't think fighting another country's civil war and choosing sides is accomplishing the task. There are more terrorism attacks now, than before we invaded Iraq. Contrary to what some posters on this forum believe, Dems despise terrorism as much as Republicans. They just have totally different philosophies on how it should be fought.

I think Barrack Obama will, he wants to pull out of Iraq but he keeps talking about going after Alqueda and Osama Bin Laden.
I must confess I've only heard Hilary say she's going to pull out the troops from Iraq. I'm not sure what she'll do about Alqueda.

and this is what some people do (i'm talking about the question) - they take an opinion about a single thing - the iraq war - and make it be about something else.
MOST americans think we never should have gone into iraq in the first place, that's why most americans will never have anything akin to pride about 'winning' or 'losing' there.
but there is a smoldering anger and hatred beginning to boil out there - americans are hungry for some PAYBACK FOR 9/11.
any politician, and I mean ANY, who does not bear this in mind, will not get elected.
simply put, we will never get any payback for 9/11 in iraq - no matter how bush and cheney and their paid minions try to spin this.
that is the main reason why we shouldn't be there...

If the dems get the White House and retain power in Congress they will run from terror. Just like when Clintoon was President they will have the time and resources to train and plan other attacks...

Hillary Clinton will not pull out. She realizes that if we leave Iraq at this moment, we will only be back at a later date costing our nation billions more. Obama, Kucinich, Edwards, Dodd and Richardson want to leave right away. They obviously do not grasp foreign policy. Biden thinks that he can broker a political solution, I don't know. He seems like a goofball anyway.

because of the fact a spending bill is precisely that, a bill appropriating money. Congress has no skill to dictate how a conflict is waged. they could in basic terms gove a President the marvelous to salary conflict, (which they have). Congress has the marvelous to no longer fund the conflict, or to fund it. they have not got the marvelous to dictate the words of the conflict.

Yes. Hopefully they are to smart to continue to waste resources on Iraq. Let the country break up. The Shia, Kurds, and Sunni don't want to live together anyway.
