Inevitably some would fight with the enemy. God help their souls! The rest of America would forget party lines and band together. I would say atleast 90-95%

If America were invaded we would likely all band together to fight a common enemy. There are certainly some who would likely join or at least assist those who were invading our country. Heck there were a number of people who supported England in the revolutionary war. But the majority of Americans would support each other, would put aside our differences and fight for the common good. We’ve seen it happen time and time again.

on 9/11 I saw what would happen if the us were invaded, yes there would be panic, yes there would be chaos, yes there would be fear, but shortly there after, the invading force would face a truly united states of America,
and to those of you that would use this question to still line liberal Americans with terrorists, it is you that are truly un American, as both liberals and Conservatives have fought and died for this country and still do to this day.
to those of you that would say Americans aren't that brave, I challenge you to make that same statement in person to an Army Ranger, Navy Seal, Marine Recon,Or Delta Force member, Then you will truly see American bravery at it best and what its capable of at its worst :)

9/11 all over again -
Most Americans would join together, while a handful of misguided people would join what was left of the enemy. I don't think "fight with the enemy" will be an option.

Of course Americans would join together and fight the enemy. The nation was united after 9-11-01 and for at least 2 years after that. The war against Iraq and the calculated divisiveness of the Republican politicos destroyed that unity, but it did not turn one side into the enemy of the other.

There was a time when I would have said, "...fight", absolutely. But with some of today's politicians willing to destroy our borders, allow any special interest group 'special rights' and refuse to honor or defend the Constitution - the choice is not so clear.
Just like using politics to destroy the morale of the US military, some people would join the "enemy".

It all depends on who did the invading. There would always be a few that would become traitors and fight against their country but I like to think that the vast majority would fight for her setting aside any differences we might have, at least temporarily.

I would hope and pray that we would join together..but I guarantee that if we are invaded and ANYONE gets in the way of me defending my country...the last thing they would ever see is the barrel of my gun...I would really hate for it to come to that though. But I will defend what is mine and my families, and This country is MINE!
