I'm not at all surprised about Vick.
If I were a big Patriots fan, I would be quite disappointed. Luckily for me I'm a Panthers fan...even though we got our butts kicked again yesterday. :-(

Good question. I don't know about another specific year, but there was the 1919 Blacksox scandal and the college basketball scandals of the 1950's.
