hello all, i currently have a 1gb ddr2 pc5300 ram in my computer, and today i bought a 2gb kit of ddr2 pc5400 ram from newegg, will it work in my motherboard, is there a big difference between pc5300 ram and pc5400 ram???

PC5300 and PC5400 are the exact same thing, they are both DDR2 RAM that runs at a speed of 667Mhz, which is what your board supports, so you will be fine. The difference in names is just a matter of different manufacturers rounding the effective bandwidth (which is actually 5336) differently.

There Isn't A Big Difference between PC5300 and 5400 itself.

But There is A Massive Difference in 1GB of PC5300, and 2GB of PC 5400 !

We cant tell you weather it will work in your motherboard, because you haven't said what tyour 'Mobo' is.

But most likely it will work, even if your motherboard cant take that speed. it will just restrict it.

PS: you should of asked this BEFORE you ordered.
