what is the correct word for someone who constantly thinks that they are someone else?

as in like a famous person or a fictional character.

Dont write stupid answers like 'insane' or 'losers'

I want the proper term. even a medical one, whatever.

IT IS DELUSIONAL. not schizophrenic. people that are delisional actually believe they are other people or live in an alternate universe. schizophrenics are more the "paranoid" type, thinking someone is out to get them or they are being attacked by something.

I don't know a medical term for this condition, or even if it is a medical condition. And I am not joking when I say that I would imagine that this person is either schizophrenic or is practicing for an acting career.
