I found a few images on google earth and i was wondering what im looking at exactly. It's located directly over the north and south pole, but in my mind im thinking that it could be a number of things and more than likely a program design. Can anyone explain if this is a design in the program or something else?

Its probably just a result of the sattelite's orbit. I think the imaging sats have an East-West orbit. Spy sats have a North-South orbit.
