Yes...it angers me to see the X in place of Christ. If I had my way there would be a whole lot more religion and less marketing in that particular holiday.

No, however my wife is. We are both Christians.
The X in Xmas is actually supposed to be the greek letter Chi and is the first letter in the Greek spelling of Christ.
I say that the X actually puts Christ into the holiday, where the modernization of the holiday has strayed far from the celebration of Christs birth.
She says it takes Christ out of Christmas.
Of course, Christmas is not the actual day of Christs birth, it was placed on Dec 25th to replace winter solstice which was a pegan celebration.

yes i dont see why you would x out the christ part - chritmas although a holiday created by paegans to deflect christian values and promote other things to celebrate, is still one that gives honor to christ jesus - it is not known the day of his birth but it is known that it wasnt in the spring summer or fall - some christians honor it, and some dont - but overall none call it xmas

Absolutely. X is an abominable sign of disrespect. I straighten the x out in my mind sometimes and imagine t to be a cross. God bless.

Yes. I also refuse to ever write idk, dh, bff, and other inane abbreviations. LOL is the farthest I'll go towards illiteracy.

And I pronounce Taoism with a T and Samhain as Sam-hane and I don't care what anyone thinks about it.
