No, they'd be telling me "Another notice of violation, peasant!" The chick in the notice of "you've gotten 10 points for best answer" is already getting on my nerves so I just know hearing "you've got mail" would grate on my nerves after awhile. The voices on those things are usually so mechanical!
Reminds me that there's a commercial on a local radio station for a restaurant that now I will NEVER try because I hate the voice of the bimbo in the commercial. Voices make strong impressions on me so, definitely not, I don't want Yahoo talking to me.

All you need is Yahoo Instant Messenger & leave it on while working on other stuff & it will make a sound and a pop-up in the lower right corner lets you know if it's mail, an IM, or 360 message or best answer or someone answering your question.
