A size 6 is much smaller than most of the women out there. It's a very ideal size. Haven't you ever heard the expression, "she's a perfect size 6"? You are perfect; don't worry what others think!

Depends on how she wears her weight. If there is "love handles" (folds of skin and fat) that are prominent, then I would think of the girl as having a weight issue. If however, the person is "solid" - muscle, etc. - then that would be considered something different.
Of course, depending on the personality of the person, the weight might not even register in most of the relationship. There are many people in my life who, by the various guidelines, would be classified as overweight or even obese. However, most of the time, I couldn't give you the names of more than a couple or three without thinking about it really hard. Most of the time, when I think of them, I think of laughing faces, positive outgoing personalities, and fun times.
As a matter of fact, my wife, who've I've been married to for 29 years, falls into a category of being, technically, overweight. She has been trying for several years to get a decent amount of exercise every week, but the effect of having four kids, and a desk job for quite some time, has taken its toll and so others see her as heavy. I see her that way at times, when she is feeling under the weather or not feeling her normal perky self. But there are other times when I don't see the outer body, but the inner self. In fact, she just called me while I was typing this.

I don't know how to judge based on clothes size, but 143 pounds seems like a nice manageable weight. In general a guy probably doesn't want a woman's weight to match or exceed his own...(personally if I can't lift you that's sort of a deal-breaker for me, but tastes and preferences vary from man to man).

Society is rediculous now a days attempting to make any woman who does not weight a hundred pounds and wears a length 0 adventure fat.

If you are 5'4" and 143 lbs., I don't know how you can fit in a size 6 pair of jeans. Depending on your bone structure, you are between 10 and 15 lbs. overweight.

It depends on how the 143 pounds is distributed. But you should be comfortable with it and where you are. Don't try to keep up with Hollywood's idea of fat or thin. A woman who is confident in herself and her body is more beautiful and sexier than a woman who is always trying to change.

Personally, guys have no idea of the proportioning of a woman, to say, 'Oh, she's a size 5 or is she a 2?' If you had a pic, I'm sure it would help.
It also depends on how you may be proportioned.
I'd rather not get into details without insulting the feminine persuasion.

For me that sounds just about right. Some people will think that's too heavy but it sounds good to me.

Why are you so concerned about it? Quit letting society dictate what you consider 'normal' or 'cute'. Be confident in yourself and THAT is what the world will see!
