I noticed the silly smirk has been gone from his face since November of 2006. Maybe now that he has true Congressional oversight to keep him from executing his evil he sees no reason to sneer. He has gotten himself into a pickle this time and daddy can't bail him out this time. I believe he will hold out until the end but barely.

Usually when a president reaches the last couple of years of their second term, it really starts taking it's toll. Every president that has served 2 terms ends up this way. I remember how much Bill Clinton aged while he was president. And the amount of bags he had unde rhis eyes. It's a very stressful job, and it's very normal. I do think President Bush has the willpower and the health to finish his term.

after all he cant have another term, and term is running out fast, he is already having all the Democrats poking his nose,.he would try to spend his time as president without any major upset,{he will be careful not to create anything himself} YES. he will able to hold until the end of his term.SURE. he already does that roaming here and there, just touring and restricting himself away from any major political,or international issues.

Look at any of our Presidents at the beginning of their terms and at the end. They all age more quickly from the stresses and pressures of the job. He's doing fine, and will still be there until the end of his term.

Actually they were just talking about how composed and confident he looked during his speech to the nation on television the other night. I think any honest person would agree with this perception of the President.

He will be happy to leave Washington I think. His biggest failure is trying to work with the democrats rather than squashing them like bugs. He let's them lie and spread hate without response because he doesnt want to play politics but sometimes you have to get into the trenches when the opposition is so hatefilled

clinton looked like hell too towards the end of his term. i think it happens. having that kind of job has got to be extremely taxhing on the psyche. i'd look like complete crap and incoherent too if i'd been the president for 8 years.

Yes, he will be fine. He is no different than any other "lame duck" president. I think he will be very happy to leave Washington.
