Ok- so this guy is completely into telling the world how to do things and where to put your money but does this guy actually fork out his own dough?
If he's such an advocate why doesn't he ask his concert goers to donate a food bag instead of the hundreds of dollars for his concert?

Amen, Girl Next Door! Notice he only cares about causes that will win him applause. He advocates for Africa but does he ever do anything for the poor in his own country? No, cause if he did no one would care and that means no press.

I totally agree with you. He's RICH ... why doesn't he give his money to help out. I'm all for charity, don't get me wrong, but most people can bearly pay their bills & support their own families.
Hey Bono, donate all the money you make at your concerts to charity.

He wants to be knighted like Bob Geldof. In Britain, if you do enough for charity (worthy causes), you get a title. I don't like Bono on a personal level and I think those nameless unknowns who do something for charity are worthier people.

bono supports alot of world charities inclusing debt relief for third world nations. h'es puts up his onw money and his own time for causes and he's never compnesated for this witha salary. he may be self rightous but it's all good. and he looks hot saving the world too!

to an extent i can see what you're saying... but you gotta admire a guy who uses his celebrity to help people! it would be worse if he was saying, come to my concert... pay me & forget the problems in the world. there a plenty of celebrities like that... so i applaud Bono.
