Can U Buy UPGRADABLE Laptops? (not customisable)?

i got an intergrated one at the moment so was looking for a new one.
Alienware offer top spec ones, but once they've made it for you theres no way to upgrade it.

I was looking to get one then buy my own bits for it.

What you want is SO EASY to do on a desktop but next to impossible in laptops. The most you could do with laptops is max out the RAM and fill up all of the expansion slots with your favorite peripherals.

Asus, sells barebone Laptops.

I can't comment on there laptops personally, but i know there PC components are good stuff.
