No, I think they should just provide a balance of both.

Yes, I know I drank a ton of regular soda when I was in school because it was right there and available to me. I think the big issue is obesity in children, and fighting that is more important than letting big-time soda companies make money off these kids. I never realized how many calories I was consuming just from soda! Promote healthy beverages and educate kids on what they're putting in their bodies.

The candy machines, particular. Soda, no longer lots. I went to a small HS the place purely Jrs and Srs have been allowed to have soda in the process the college day, and that's provided they had a B average or extra constructive and purely interior the learn corridor. until now and after college absolutely everyone ought to get a soda nonetheless. And there replaced right into a juice device for an option. Any non-college provided nutrition replaced into strictly banned.

Why? If you are worried about your kids getting too much soda and caffene then you are not doing your job as a parent.
Break bad habits at home then you won't have to worry about vending machines at school. Now what to do about Starbucks!!!!!

No, then the kids would just bring them from home... you cant promote anything by banning it. making the drinking age 18 did not promote less teenagers to drink.. removing soda from schools makes it more taboo.. making it more attractive. I say how about educating the general public in healthy eating ..

yes i do. as a matter of fact, soda vending machines should be banned at all schools, even in the teachers lounges. same goes for snack vending machines, unless they are stocked with health bars, etc.

Uh no! As a kid we drank sodas all the time and not all of us are fat. Sodas arent the problem, its the nintendos and playstations that are the problems. Kids need to play outside more. As a kid I was outside every day until the street lights came on, I never sat in fornt of the TV, thats how kids get fat.
