C'mon WooleyBooley, I'm a "real" Lions fan, we will win more than 4 games, you have no faith. With Mike Marx at the helm of the offense, its on, and we have some great tools to work with. Good game to the Vikes fans, we shoulda done better with 4 picks, gotta turn those into points somehow, but a win is a win. Sometimes a team needs those close tough games to build character. And yes, no matter what anybody says, the Vikes have a damn good defense. Lions all the way baby!!

I'd say that they are a 6-10 team this year.
Tarvaris Jackson has got the reins at QB so he will have his bumps and bruises. They probably have the best left side of the offensive line in the NFL and have 2 very good RBs to run behind those guys. I honestly believe that Adrian Peterson will be a top 5 RB in the NFL by the end of next season. Other than those guys, the offense doesn't really have any weapons.
On the defensive side, Kevin and Pat Williams are top notch but you still need someone to rush the passer. The linebackers are looking much better and the secondary is still pretty descent. But I think you also have to look at who the Vikings beat up on, the disarray Falcons and the Lions. Neither team has a solid offensive line. They haven't really been tested by an elite offensive or defensive team yet.

Sorry ViQueens Fan but you don't even have the best D in the NFC North.
Granted the Queens have given up 3 fewer points than the Packers, but the Pack held the Eagles and the Giants to 13 points each while the Queens played the worst offense in the league, the Vickless Falcons, and a perennial crap team, the Lions.

I'm a Lion's fan (sob). Yesterday's game was one of those that both teams tried to lose. When it's all said and done, the Vikings will be #1 in the Central Division, the Lions will have another 4-12 or 5-11 season.

With Tarvaris Jackson at the helm, I doubt the Vikes will even have a winning record. Maybe next year. Packers will win the division. And what a terrible division it is...

Like was said earlier week 2 is WAY WAY to early to predict the end season. Stranger things have happened . Who knows we may be seeing a fluke with the Patriots. We may see Cleveland come up and go all the way. It is way to early.

Die-Hard Packer fan but I must say, the Vikings are impressing me this year. They appear to be much better than I thought they would be.
"Best" defense though? Nope
