Seriously! It's been over 10 years since he was acquitted of murder, yet his damned name keeps popping up in the media for one reason or another. Yes, I know that he now faces felony charges in a robbery probe, but does anyone honestly give a sh*t here? Aren't there more important things we could be focusing on than some has-been athlete with possible criminal tendencies?

I am sick of hearing about OJ. I always was sick of it. Never was interested in the original murder case. Celebrities bore me. I never understood why people are so enthralled by them. Don't people have lives of their own?

I just think it's sad how his life has gone downhill from where it was 20 years ago. I mean, the guy was riding on top of the world then, now he just keeps getting drug through the mud. Hopefully he'll seek some counseling and get his head back on straight (if ever it was). And, yes, I am sick of hearing about him in the news.

yeah - i don't get all the hype either - i guess its cause he's a murderer that got off and now he might get a little jail time. It wasn't even a shocking story so I don't get it either. It would be different if the headlines read "Mandy Moore being charged with armed robbery" - I mean this is to be expected of him so what more is there to say

unfortunately, unless you run one of the major media outlets, you will never get rid of crazy stories like this......all the ppl answering this question (including myself) may be sick to death of O.J. as a story, but the media could give a flip about what we want because it doesnt hit them where it hurts ( the wallet/purse/pocketbook).........the sad fact is, the media wants dramatic crap like this and much as it may pain alot of you, there are still many supporters of this guy so it definitely polarizes some and that gets ppl who would otherwise watch something else to tune in...........news isnt news any more (if it ever was), it's entertainment

I am sick of hearing about him as well. I feel though that the media will be 'satisfied' when he is in jail for good. Apparently, so will many Americans who believe that he was responsible for the double-murders he was accused of over ten years ago.

Sick, sick, sick. The funny thing is I said it a couple of months ago in an answer I wrote and got mostly thumbs down. Apparently, there are a lot of people that still think this guy is
important. But not me.

OJ
Lindsay
Paris
Whoever
they get air time because we watch the programs that make them news, we buy the "stuff" they sell just like it was on our grocery list. Until our culture stops elevating people with money to positions of 'authority' those of us with common sense will be changing channels to protect our sensibilities

And why to we listen to otherwise vapid movie stars then the jump up on a soapbox. These people become rich and famous pretending to be other people and they do it so well they live lives of obscene, conspicuous consumption.
Because of their celebrity, they can say what they want and people eat it up regardless of how poorly stated (no script, on their own they're often less that eloquent) or unreasoned it is (outrageous unsupported emotional statements)

That is why OJ gets away with what he gets away with, because we let him. And that's why we have to listen to his exploits.

Yes,I am tried of the media exposure as well. Unfortunately,
there are still some people out there who can't get enough of this kind of story. And he didn't do himself any favor with the book.
