That makes perfect sense. An agnostic will eventually come to believe in something greater than himself when he looks back at the series of events in his life and sees that things happened for him in ways that he couldn't have created himself, which allows him to feel safe trusting his well-being to something intangible. You need proof. The good news is that you understand that you don't have enough information to be a pessimist. That's a good place to be.
Trust me... I'm not the least bit religious. I just figured out that someone else is obviously in control so I don't have to live trying to control everything as if I did. Life is easier that way.

Agnostic. I don't see conclusive, indisputable evidence one way or the other to prove or disprove God's existence. It looks doubtful I will in my lifetime -- but, like you, I always will keep an open mind.

Agnostic.ish. I have my own religion, where if you are a resectful human being, and don't "Sin" You are going to have a pleasant afterlife. I believe in God. But I do not believe in Church.
