...and what made it so good?

it was this little festival in upstate New York, about 500,000 people, the year was 1968, and I was a teenager with stars in my eyes. the stars I saw over the next three days eclipsed the ones in my eyes and changed my outlook forever. they made a movie of the whole thing; the bus we traveled in made the movie, but none of us did. how can you get better than Woodstock? oh yeah, and that includes the Beatles in Miami back in 1965.

A Breaking Benjamin show last October. I've seen them quite a few times and always think they put on a hell of a show, but that particular show they were headlining and Ben (lead singer) seemed like he was in an awesome mood and it was just amazing. I was so into it I didn't even notice anyone or anything around me, I loved every minute! They also had a kick-*** opening band that has since then become one of my favorites. (HourCast) Everything about the whole night just came together perfectly to create the best concert ever!

Family Values Tour in 1998. Korn, Incubus, Rammstein, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, & someone else I don't remember.
Although I HATE LB now and Korn is kinda blah now. Rammstein kicked *** all over that place, by far the best stage show EVER.
Tool & The Melvins was the best musically.
Pantera Coal Chamber & Machinehead was the heaviest and rowdiest.

Lou Reed Santa Monica Civic about 1977. A little fuzzy on the exact year. Just darn good music by an awesome musician.

all sorts!

hmm, i loved the last gig i went to because it was a tiny intimate place and i was there with a pal and we had fun jumping about with glowsticks and singing along- that was a band called shiny toy guns

my chemical romance: it was like a community and so energetic. and someon gave me their friends orange pop when i came crawling (not litterally), drenched in my and other peoples sweat out of this massive audience.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly: it was massive fun and the singer spoke of such things, it opened my eyes, and im i wasnt aware when i went that id be leaving with such knowledge about the BNP, people and fair trade; like, it costs, at most, 45p to make a pair of nike trainers (including the few pence pay for the person making them) later sold for £50

every time i die: metal band, i loved it because it was a small gig, i was right at the front, i met and partied witht the band in the car park after the gig AND i enjoyed the screaming, the headbanging and releasing frustration

comedy gigs are great too.

im going to see rufus wainwright in october so i cant wait, if he has his whole band with him and the singers... well, you know it's going to be amazing

I've only been to OzzFest 2007 in Denver. I'm 17 though, many other concerts I plan on going to..

What made it good? My personal God on Earth was there.. The only musician/person I truly care about.. Ozzy..

Madonna the Blond Ambition tour

She made it not just music but theatriacal and there wasn't a dull moment and of course the controversial masturbation simulation she did when she performed Like a Virgin. Also Madonna is my all time favorite

Bruce Springsteen, November 18th, 1975 at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Nobody really knew who or what he was all about and it was a 600 seat theater. He had the audience on its feet on the first song and remained on their feet for 21/2 hours. I was electrifying.

Metallica's And Justice for All Tour......it was probably the peak of their career.

I also liked Audioslave....I felt like watching Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, Rage against the Machine and Audioslave in one concert.
