You cried as you should; you just killed a living vegetable!

Chopping onions or watching sad movies are great ways to get the tears flowing and letting out bottled up emotions. Whenever someone close to me is hurting, due to serious illness, death of a friend or family member, or other sad things, I cook. Making soups, elaborate dishes, even baking tortes can be very healing to me, and it seems like lots of good feelings go into that food for the other person to be comforted with.

My saddest experience in life was losing my father. He died two years ago of cancer, and I miss him every day. We were like best friends. The last few weeks of his life, all he ate were the soups I made him. They must have been salty, because I cried the whole time I was making them.

I was peeling onions once and my girlfriend dumped me. After crying over peeled onions, I just had no where to go. So I played playstation.

Very healing. Especially when I got the triple max far-out gunga score on "Tony Hawk skating"

well yeah ...now you can sing "Now I will tell you what I've done for you,
50 thousand tears I've cried.
screaming, decieving, and bleeding for you,
and you still won't hear me."

and the most sadening experience was when my 21 year old uncle was killed in the US.

BTW ..i heard if you chew gum while peeling or cutting onions ..your heart won't get broken
=D

Once of my saddest, and most recent was having to leave my new husband in Lebanon and fly back alone to the US. I probable cried 90% of the way back to the US. I miss him so much, i just wish there was an easier way of getting him here, but the US government insist on making it difficult
