I think I would have been a bit upset too! I mean you were just trying to vent your feelings and after all he did ask! But dont pay it any attention...I am going through some really hard times myself! But thats neither here nor there! Just dont worry about it or you'll get yourself too stressed and that is not good either! Then you will have a melt down! Sit by yourself and have some alone time! You will feel better then! Good luck and if you ever wanna talk...just email me! TTYL!

You've definitely got the right to be mad. He just keeps blowing off everyting you say...and this time hes got no excuse. He knew how serious your issue was...Maybe hes the type of kid who hasnt had any real problems yet, so its possible he didnt know how to deal with what you were saying. Or hes just a jerk.Either way, make sure you let him know that hes hurt you, let him know how mad you are...then maybe next time he wont take everything so lightly.

sometimes we all over react to a situation, and its down to our mood at the time, sometimes you can brush them off, other times things upset you that normally wouldnt, your friend obviously didnt realize this was a time when you were really ticked off, dont make even more drama, we've all had a light hearted approach to a problem we didnt understand, if he continues to be insensitive to your needs, time to find a new friend to confide in, good luck

You need to let it go. Like you said, you've got enough going on that's roughened up your life already. So why add that useless emotion anger to the load? It just drags you down and makes you feel like crap on top of everything else.

Don't let little things like that get to you. You're friend just seems a little too insensitive to your feelings right now. Try talking to someone that you know will understand where you are coming from. I sure hope that times get better for you.

you did not take it "TOO" personal. It was a problem of yours and to you it's important. Don't tell him your problems again, even if he asks.
I doubt if he's looking beyond his own self centered self. My youngest brother is the same way. It's always all about him. And my problems are just nothing..I usually stay away from my brother, because if I'm having problems, he tends to make me feel worse instead of better.

And i was like "oh come on! u know how hard is it for me!" and she still was like "oh yeah yeah blah blah blah! stop it Nina! im fed up of that" and she never takes my problems serious.. and its always upsetting me so much.. she still doesnt take that thing with that guy serious...

i dont think you took it personally. if this person was a real friend, he would actually consider your problems instead of writing them off as you being emotional. real friends listen and lend an ear when you need them, even if they dont really understand your problem. them seeing you upset should be enough to make them be concerned.

No he shouldn't have asked you a serious question and replied in a joking manner...I'd be angry at him too, that was very immature of him.
Just tell him how childish he acted
