...they will speak in glowing terms. Does this say something about the Democrats today? Especially when you consider that Clinton was impeached, disbarred, and disgraced before the entire world.

Amazing how ignorant you people are about the recent history of a man you tout as being the greatest president ever. Clinton was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice. The "BJ" had nothing to do with it. Click the link below, read and educate yourselves.

Clinton was impeached but was acquitted by majority vote. The Republicans HELD the majority but couldn't GET a majority, which means the impeachment was an exercise in rabid partisanship, not impartial justice. He was NOT disbarred. The only President ever disbarred was Richard Nixon, a Republican -- and so was his Vice President, Spiro Agnew. It wasn't Clinton who was disgraced, it was his opponents. The whole civilized world was on Clinton's side, because it knew the GOP was going after him for stupid reasons.
Bill Clinton is the best President of the last half-century. He will probably remain so for a long time to come, as I doubt even Hillary is good enough to clean up the messes Bush leaves behind in eight years.

Bill By God Clinton Was NOT impeached, yea yea He did have an Impeachment Trial, and the vote was two-thirds in favor of Impeachment proceedings. You may read a little further, that all the Democrats and 10 Republicans Voted to acquit and did so.
You Know OJ did it - I know OJ did it, but the fact is You cant say legally that He did it, cuz He was acquitted.
Yes His Wife: Hillary May suck ( pun intended) at being president, but if he in anyway helps her. I would vote for Her, and I sir am an Republican, I always vote to Kill everyone that ain't American, and screw the Country, but not anymore Thanks to G Bush who has done his father an injustice by using the family name. I hate the Dixie Chicks, just cause, but they are right He makes Texans (guess I need to move now ,(Iam in texas)look stupid.
We already won what we needed to in Iraq ( the Death of Saddam Hussein that is all we needed. Now move on let them kill each other. After that don't you think it would be alot easier to beat the rest down? I don't care what Iraq dose, I don't care what Iran dose. We did what We did. I would send all our troops home, and leave a message for the world.
Attack us in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA one mo again, and we will nuclear strike the country that you are in.
And a personel note to:
Jim(put a)sock(in it)
What will you write when its all said and done.
G Bush will be tried and convicted of War crims, its a fact son.http://www.bushcommission.org/ The world is looking, and they already said go get him.
and yes I wanted nothing More than the Son to be like the Father. I based that on the fact that While I served your country Regan and Bush sent the Message to Iran.
Let our people go NOW, else in the Am you wont be anymore. We will attack. something the Peanut farmer could not do. Hostages where released (period)
The fact is Bush has let down Republicans - Democrates - and most importantly AMERICANS. It dose us no good to wipe out a people if you turn your back on your own people.

Take a look at what Clinton has accomplished both while he was in office and so far during his time out of office. Clinton is a great American and was a great President.
What's funny is the number of people who can't seem to say one good thing about Clinton but constantly refer to his infidelities... How many republicans have been disgraced due to there infidelities?
Newt Gingrich
John McCain
Rudy Giuliani
Henry Hyde
Bob Livingston
Mark Foley
Tom Delay
Larry Craig (allegedly)
David Vitter
Bernard Kerik
Paul Wolfowitz

Are you kidding, you seriously think the impeachment was not about "sexual activities" a "bj" so to say. Have you even read the Star report which was the basis of the investigation.
That's like saying the Scooter Libby conviction had nothing to do with the Plame investigation. After 5 years of investigating Clinton's indescretions they found something they could possibly bring him to trial. It was all to generate a media circus.

He got impeached because of Blow Jb nothing more. I take slick willy any day over bush.
- Bush slacked on the job cost us 9/11
- Lied about the war, amputees, 1 million refugees, 4000 americans dead and counting.
- His administration outting of a CIA agent, Valerie Plame Ambassador Joe Wilson's wife, thats tantamount to treason.
- His spending has led us to 2 Trillion in spending and debts Now if you compare during Clinton's era, he overturned the deficit and turn into billions dollars of savings, so whos spending more?
- Witness Tampering. The Abramovich scandals that net several Republican senators, there was strong indication that the White House was taking kickbacks all the way up to Mr. Bush himself. Now with all that allegations why was he allowed to have 1-hour unsupervised visit to the Star witness one-on-one? Would you, honestly, as a prosecuter let your star witness an one-on-one unsupervised visit with a mafia boss that you are trying to prosecute?

I comprehend now that possibly because of the undeniable fact that they have merely approximately continually gained each and every marketing campaign they have run, they got here into this election with a feeling of entitlement. the two have shown their weaknesses: they're very sore losers. They win nicely yet won't be ready to swallow defeat. that's extremely unhappy because of the fact Hilary did run a great marketing campaign and he or she got here closer than any lady has ever come earlier. she will go away with that experience of achievement and with greater effective kin to contributors of her occasion yet instead they had to take it individually, impress their supporters right into a infantile state the place they pull out all the justifications interior the e book to assist why they can't settle for defeat and pass abode. extremely if she is interested in a submit marketing campaign political profession ( and he or she would be even with each and every thing the debt she has accrued), she would be nicely recommended to pass abode.

No. What it says is that Bill Clinton was a good president and many good things happened during his presidency that benefitted the "Average Joe" i.e. The Family Medical Leave Act, among other things. Plus, most importantly, he balanced the Federal Budget. Was he perfect? Absolutely not. But the things that you listed, considering the circumstances under which it all occurred (he had an affair), does not out weigh the positive things that his 8-years in office brought to the US.

dude, you need to get out.
Clinton is loved though out the world.
I know, I have traveled and Clinton is indeed loved and Bush is indeed despised.
(they laugh about the BJ and don't even begin to understand why he was almost thrown out of office for lying about it.)
===========
While I understand why the right continually harps on this, nevertheless, by harping on this and not on Bush's lying about so many things that led us up to a half a trillion dollar war and thousands of lives just goes to show how much political ideology, zealotry and inhuman behavior goes hand in hand.
I'm bringing this up because I am sick and tired of the right continually bringing up that past as it if is the present while ignore the malfeasance and criminal behavior of the current administration. That worked for them well in the past. Now the dems are fighting back with Howitzers and not taking any prisoners.
Its about frigging time

The impeachment issue was a crock of BS that cost our country too much money and time because the man had an affair. So that argument is null and void. But as far as the "average Dem" opinion, most would say he was a pretty good president. I happen to agree. I think there were mistakes he made, and decisions that I don't agree with, but for me, the most important issue is having a balanced budget. So, that's why I liked him. He did what I believe is important.

Here, I fixed it for you:
If you ask you average Republican about their opinion of GWB?
...they will speak in glowing terms. Does this say something about the Republicans today? Especially when you consider that GWB lied about WMD, is responsible for the deaths of many US troops, can't form a coherent or logical sentence, and is huge disgrace to the entire world.
Is that the type of person [GWB] any true American should have anything good to say about?
