I love LaDanian Tomlinson, but given that he's rushed for nearly 100 yards in two games, it is safe to say NFL teams have finally devised a plan to stop him? I know the Bears & Patriots defenses are good, but they were scheming soley to stop him. Other teams have to be watching this closely.
It is similar to the Bulls-Jordan basketball dilemma. Do you triple-team Jordan and make the rest of the Bulls hit their shots. Will teams load up on L.T. and make Rivers, Gates, & Turner beat them? Can L.T. bounce back and gain more accolades running the ball rather than passing it?
*Given the Chargers play the Chiefs and Raiders, I am aware he'll explode on them. But as for the rest of the season....????

68 yards is not nearly 100 yards. He has a reinvigorated Packer defense in green Bay next week, too. OUCH!!
He looks terrible, he didn't break a single tackle last night, not even to get another yard or so. Maybe he thought he was playing touch football.
He doesn't need pre-season. He's too good for that.

No they haven't figured out a way to stop him. Chi and NE have the two best defences in the NFL. The season Barry Sanders rushed for over 2000 yards he started off the season with like 70 yards in his first two starts. Lets see how LTs numbers look after 8 games. He will not be stopped. The biggest problem is that a team that won 14 games last year fired their coach and now there is a new offensive and defensive set up. (stupidest move in NFL history? I am sure it was close if not the stupidest)
LT will have 1500 plus yards and 20 tds or more.

I really think it has less to do with the defenses and more to do with the lack of a quality receiver. Keyshawn Johnson put it best when he said, "the chargers don't need one receiver, they need five."
With Antonio Gates as their only other weapon on offense, and Philip Rivers underachieving, its gonna be tough for LT. Once somebody can make the defense pay for having 8 or even 9 guys at some points last night in the box, then LT will be alright. They haven't really figured him out. These defenses are gambling, and right now, they are winning the bet.

First off he played against 2 of the best defenses in the league so far.
But the chargers have no passing game outside of gates. thats why the bears kept 8 men in the box all game long. Lt will have problems this year, it is damn near impossible to put up numbers like he did last year 2 years in a row.
I bet he misses Marty right about now. Norv is a proven loser.

actually the raiders have a good defense they surely can stop LT from producing! The key to beating the Chargers is to make rivers throw the ball!! Clearly he gets frusrated easily as you saw in last nights game!! He cant throw the ball if he is frustrated like that! He threw interceptions got sacked seriously i know he had a bad game and he wont play like this everyweek but even week one he didnt have a singl td throw LT did! You cannot win a game with just LT!!

no i wouldnt say that because look at the teams that they have played, they have two of the best defenses in the nfl , the bears, and the patriots, look for L.T. to get back on track next week

Not figured him out.
He has played to 2 best run defenses in the NFL.
He will mop the ground up with the Raiders and be back on que.

they played the bears (good defense) they played the patriots (good defense) they're two good run stopping defenses, he'll bounce back, people make predictions way too early in the season

He can't see the field because of all the tears in his eyes. Once he decides to play football instead of crying, he'll be okay.
