Cuba is the same poor country it has been for decades. After Castro squandered the wealth he inherited after his revolution, his communist system was unable to create more. This is of course the way it always works in communist countries. Kill off the productive than feed on their corpses until there is nothing left, than blame the US for their poverty. The US cannot do a thing to make Cuba better until they get rid of the system that makes them poor. If that happens then we can begin to trade with them, make investments through private enterprise, and help them develop the resources they have. I can picture it now. I walk out of the door of the Havana Holiday Inn, stroll down to the beach, Open my can of Miller lite, sit in my cabana and read my USA Today. I glorious future is in store for Cuba once they throw off the 19th century chains of Communism.

Cuba is doing great in terms of health care and education...better than the U.S.
But they don't have many luxury items and frills..and they don't have Brittney.
I think we could improve Cuba if we sent them Brittney Spears. It might be good for her too.

Cuba lives poorly.
USA must lift the sanctions and allow Cuban goods to be imported: cigars and sugar cane, and, in the future, cheap alternative fuels produced from sugar cane.
