It is possible to get pregnant but this is not the best time to have sex for conception. If you are TTC the best time is the middle of your cycle which is different for all women but approximately 14 days before your period is due as rough estimate.

I always go by the idea that I can get pregnant at ANYTIME; on my period, off my period, a week before my period, two days after my period - ANYTIME. Then, I always know that I have to employ birth control, no matter what time of the month it is.

yes is the simple answer, as that might be the time for your body to ovulate, I know it was for me cause guess what I just found out I am pregnant and I know for a fact it was one week before my period was due.

Yes, you are probably quite fertile at that time. There really is NO safe time of the month, as ovulation isn't an exact science. If you don't want to get pregnant, use contraception. If you do want to get pregnant, keep trying! You can get ovulation predictor kits but I never found them much use.
