There are so many, love Peter Kay as i can relate to things he says, we still say "put big light on" most of the funnies comedians are the ones that tell real life tales that are funny(Jasper Carott) my mate has a great knack of doing this. Victoria Wood is a complete genius of comedy, she has the wit and very clever with timing and timing is very important She is also a great actress.

Peter Kay? You have a short memory. It depends on the type of comedy, but I have to say Ronnie Barker was one of the biggest genius comedy writers of all time. Let's not forget the Pythons too.
You can't forget Charlie Chaplin, and I agree that Tommy Cooper was also a great entertainer. I've got a soft spot for Stephen Fry too.

Fan Mei-Hsing of Hong Kong looks so goofy he does not need to do anything to make one laugh. In "The Country Bumpkin", he comes to Hong Kong from the New Territories and soon gets into many difficult situations, because he is so naive and dumb. A man must be quite smart to be able to look so dumb.
