ok some French guy said it may go to war as a last result, if Iran is a "treat" to the middle east explain this
Let us start with Israel sitting on 100-200 nukes. Iran allows UN inspectors in, Israel does not. Iran is a signatory of the non-proliferation treaty, Israel is not.
Assuming Iran is really trying to develop nukes, any results will be in a decade (CIA). That gives the world community enough time to disarm Israel so Iran will have no more reason to develop its own.
But this suggestion is not politically correct!
and doesn't Saudi have a few aswell
and i'm no anti-semitic or anti-Israeli before them comments from war mongers pop up

It is basically about flattening Muslim countries and destroying Israel's enemies as far as I can see (and no I am neither pro-Isreal or pro-Arab).
Whether you are pro/anti israel, you cannot deny that the US supports them unwaveringly in everything they do. This, I believe, is the REAL reason we are in the Middle East - to flatten Israel's enemies (and also to take the oil)

If a conservative Republican like Alan Greenspan says the war in Iraq was about oil and not WMDs - and the man was very much in the loop and a genius political and economic analyst to boot - why should Iran be any different.
The Americans need the Gulf to be free from threat in order to transport oil - hence the likelyhood of open war in the near future. At the moment that war remains covert, and is likely to remain so until the Americans can free up enough troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.
As for nuclear weapons in the Middle East and elsewhere - the genie has been out of the bottle since the Trinity test and the construction techniques are more or less in the public domain. All it takes is the political will and the money.

The Iranian president has made many threats against Israel. The fear is that once Iran has nukes that Israel is target number one. Who do you think target number two is? U.S.? Europe? Take your pick. Israel has nukes but they aren't threatening their neighbors with nuclear devastation like Iran. France seems concern that they will be a strong target for an Iran with nuclear capability. They are a lot closer than we are for their missiles. Its almost no secret that Russia is "helping" Iran develop their nuclear program. The Russian government (Putin) have a financial relationship with Iran and a shared hatred of the west. Even if Israel disarms their nukes today, they will still be a target for Iran and any other Muslim country. This "disagreement" between brothers goes back to the time of Abraham. Its not Israel's nukes that concern Iran but that Israel exists. Personally, I think this is leading up to the events spoken of in Ezekiel 38-40. There is mention there that Russia, Iran, and other Mid East countries mentioned in the Bible called by their ancient names will one day war against Israel. When that happens watch out.

Primarily because it will bring more unstability to an already unstable region. As well, the Iranian President has made it quite clear he has no use for Jews and would like to eradicate them. He even held a Holocaust denier summit in Iran. This man is a megalomaniac, and to put such powerful weapons in his hand would be a kin to giving 3 year old child a loaded and cocked 9mm.
A few other things.
'Some French guy" Is that akin to some muslim guy.?
That's right Iran is part of the non-proliferation treaty, that is why they must let in UN inspectors, and be completely transparent in their quest for nuclear technology, which like Hussain they are not. Israel is not a member of the non-proliferation treaty, therefore there is no requirement for them to let in anyone they don't want to.
Israels 100-200 nuclear weapons, please provide a link for your information, because I believe your estimate is wildly innaccurate and unsubstantiated. Israel has never admitted that they possess nuclear weapons, it's only speculation, and Olhmert has once had a minor slip of the tounge that suggested that they may have them.
Saudi Arabia, to my knowledge has not admitted to having nuclear weapon either. But if they did, wouldn't that be good, would they not protect their Muslim brothers. If not, then why? Is it because they also don't trust the Iranian government.
Loonies? Are you talking about the Isrealis bombing Lebanon, after terrorists kidnaped and killed their soldiers during an incursion into Israels soverign territory.
Or the ones who launch rocket propelled grenades and mortars into civilian areas and kidnap people
Or the ones who let school girls burn to death in a school dormitory because they faces and bodies are not covered.
Or the ones who behead, burn, beat, drag through the streets, hang from bridges, engineers and civilians.
Or the ones who kidnap a missionary group hold them hostage, murder a Pastor...For Money!!
Or the ones who take over a primary school and end up murdering 500 children and some teachers
Or the ones who shoot defencesless Israeli children fleeing a bomb attack, by shooting them in the BACK!!
Or the ones who kill nuns and burn down buildings and advocate bombing and killing over a....CARTOON!!
Or the ones who get on buses full of civilians and blow themselves up, or in train stations, or in tube stations, or in front of hotels or busy coffee shops, all in the name of God!!
You seem to express some outrage about the international community not wanting Iran to have Nuclear weapons, but where is you outrage for the above Loonies, bring dishonour to your "peace loving" religion.
No Muslim peadophiles....sure...I suppose there are no Muslim gays either, right. LOL
Muslims are just as conniving and greedy as their Christian counterparts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. No matter what your faith.
Please...are you saying there are no Christian engineers and doctors in this country...I'm sure you are not that naieve. The chavs may suffer however because all the chippys and takeaways would be closed.
Knock the fu*k out of wives-... you're right, they don't do that. They "educate" them in the ways of respect, and I believe it states in the Quran that this is exceptable. And if that doesn't work, they stone them, or slit their noses, but to be fair they are just a vile to the men, by stoneing or killing them as well. God forbid if you want to leave the Muslim faith, that is punishable by death. But not very fair to the kids is it. They don't even get a chance to choose, and by the time they can learn about all faiths, it's too late. Oh, and lets not forget honour killings, for bringing "dishonour" to the family, whatever the father and brothers skewed idea of that may be.
Loads of Muslims drink and whore around, just look at the UAE or the causeway between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on a wednesday night, cars as far as the eye can see, all going to Bahrain to PARTY!!!
One other thing...If Iran is not interested in making weapons, why didn't they take Germany up on their offer to build a light water reactor and provide them with energy grade plutonium. Instead they say no and want to build a heavy water reactor and build a 3000 centrefuge cascade to refine weapons grade plutonium. Why is that? Save your "America has it" answer, be creative.
J-Lo - actually it's the 13th century according to the Muslim calendar. 1427-1428.

Major difference....Israel has not said it wanted to exterminate any other nation. Iran has stated that it will not tolerate Israel, If they get nukes they will use them to exterminate Israel, they pretty much have made that clear. Yes Israel has nukes...it's had them for a good long time...and even though there has always been incursions into their territory, fighting along their borders and threats against their existence, they have not used them. The area is pretty safe with Israel having nukes....it would not be so with Iran having htem.

Bernard Kouchner is a pure french cretin ever - I know ! i'm french - All the mess around Iran is done just in order to push Russia on a defensive position, through Iran alibi - and recreate a fake threaten, just like at the soviet time - in order to justify that US soldiers stay in Irak for ever in order to re-balance Middle-East in favour of Israel - we are slowly evolving to a new definition of the southern borders of Euro-Asia - the problem is there -
Very nextly you'll see a union between Europe ( Gb excepted) China and Russia - and this one US do not want, except if they dominate the southern oil-countries

Hell, Israel does not threat any nation, while Iran leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad once publicly stated that he wanted Israel to be wiped out from the map!
Besides, Iran ambitions do not limit at all to Israel, but also to Lebanon and Iraq, as everyone may learn about on the news.
All this may raise some obvious concerns, don't you think so?

I think that the reasoning is Israel stands very little chance of being governed by loonies, whereas Iran has a high chance, and we don't want any more loonies than is absolutely necessary to have a finger on the nuclear trigger.
