Iraq shootout firm loses licence
"Iraq has cancelled the licence of the private security contractor, Blackwater USA, after it was involved in a gunfight that killed eight civilians.
The Iraqi interior ministry said the firm, based in North Carolina, was now banned from operating anywhere in Iraq.
The Blackwater workers, who were contracted by the US state department, apparently opened fire after coming under attack in Baghdad on Sunday.
Thousands of private security guards are employed in lawless Iraq.
They are often heavily armed, but critics say some are not properly trained and are not accountable except to their employers. "

The U.S. supplies China's economy with millions of jobs and billions of dollars. Why not let Iraq have a few of these jobs. People with jobs don't have as much time and energy for street violence. Instead of $9 billion monthly from the U.S. Treasury, how about outsourcing work from Wal-Mart and Target suppliers? Or teach them enough English to replace some of the Indian call centers? Or make sneakers for Nike?

Well I wouldn't call them a "shootout" firm but hey, it's a start for them. Now if they could only pull the Insurgents' licenses and have them stop operating in Iraq the troops could start coming home in more numbers ;)

You communists call them civilians we call them terrorists. Sad that we wear uniforms to signal we are not civilians and want to draw fire away from the civilians and your murdering coward heroes dress like civilians to draw fire on civilians. That's great! I would love to see Blackwater kicked out of every country that they rear their ugly heads -- including the USA! They're a bunch of out-of-control murderous thugs who spread mayhem everywhere that they go.
