Come together is noticeable, but Paul played sooo many great bass lines, listen to Taxman, he goes off on the bridge, very fast and accurate. And listen to Rain, during 1965-66 Paul went beserk on the bass.

Tough question. Personally, I like the basslines in Dear Prudence, Come Together, Baby You're A Rich Man and The Night Before.

the toughest ones i've got seen are probable Maxwells Silver Hammer, back interior the U.S., and force My automobile. If it wasn't for Paul's effect, my own basslines could be purely root notes of chords, yet through fact of Paul I discovered to be melodic, through fact it makes it funner to play, and funner to hearken to

"All My Lovin'" was very good, especially when you consider that Paul was singing a seperate melody line with different breaks. Listen to it!

In "Something", he really takes a lead role in a beautifully written song. George must have been annoyed when he first heard it, but it works quite well.

More people need to realise that macca is/was a ******* great bass player.
love all the songs listed but personal favourite is "you never give me your money" - the bass dominates the sparse arrangement.

so many to choose from, but as a bassist myself I prefer:
"Rain"
"Lovely Rita Meter Maid"
"Nowhere Man"
"I Am the Walrus"
"Penny Lane"
"Taxman" (played by George by the way)

His work on "I Saw Her Standing There" is fairly impressive. It helps lend energy to an already energetic song.

Uh... Daytripper... without a doubt. I mean... c'mon now.

Also, mad points to the guy who listed Rain...

And you know, the entire second half of Abbey Road.

Now I'm listening to the second half of Abbey Road.
