As a Browns fan, I'm cautiously optimistic. Week one, you saw a team with no confidence on offense. Week two, you saw new leadership on offense shoving the ball down the throat of a terrible defense. That could be the confidence that they need for the rest of the year. Defense is another story. This team honestly needs something on defense and I don't know what it is. If you look at the players individually, they have some pretty good talent, but when you put it all together, week one they gave up 34 pts and yesterday 45. Big problem. They will probably go somewhere between 7-9 or 9-7.

That is an excellent question! You could ask the same thing about the Bengals. Where was the defense? I think the Browns can compete against teams like the Saints, Lions, Giants... oh wait those are all NFC teams. If the Browns can get 6 victories, that would be impressive.

Probably not as good as week two, as the Bengals seemed to have contributed to their own defeat. But they're probably not quite as bad as week one. The Steelers were a good team and the Browns just seemed to have trouble getting out of the starting gate. I think overall you will see an inconsistent team that will take advantage of their opponents mistakes on occasion. Probably about a 7-9 season.

i say the Week 1 Browns we might see flashes of the week 2 team down the road. But i wouldnt really bet on that too many more times. both teams together gave 96 points and 11 touchdowns on defense totall...ugh thats more pathetic...can't even come up with a word for that kind of downright non existent defense.

I don't know what the Bengal's problem is, but you can expect the Browns to step up their game this season. Ever notice that when somebody gets fired on the job, people start coming to work on time? This is what has happened to the Browns. They got a huge wake up call!

Week one Browns. I bet they don't score 51 points in their next 2 games combined.

i still can't believe they put up 51 points, but the bengals have no defense and neither do the browns so it was intresting to see a completley offensive game..

You'll get a tough test against one of the better teams in the league in week three, the Raiders.
