I don't have any kids, but my nephews do that all the time: They're up at about 5:30 or 6 am on Sat. & Sun., but on Monday, at 7 or 7:30 am, they're crying that they didn't get enought sleep! They also go to bed a lot later (2 hours, I think) on nights when they have no school the next day.

Yes! Sunday morning my 4 year old was up at 5am! Since he has to be at pre-k this morning, of course we had to drag him out of bed. On the weekends he eats breakfast in 3 minutes, school days it takes half an hour. The rat!

Haha, that's how I was. Always wanted more sleep during the week, but come Saturday morning, I was up bright and early parked in front of the tv.

Why the hell would you want to get them up early on weekends? That's sad, let them have a rest!! 12PM latest (even though I become nocturnal on weekends)
