The pendulum swings back and forth. It has many times in my lifetime. This election is far from being decided. I would not be so quick to go wobbly if I were you.

Good luck in that job search! Is there really a difference for you or I whether a neocon or a democrat is in office? A neocon might give us a tax cut but continue to spend like a liberal so we will just have to pay the debt with interest in the future. A liberal might spend on social welfare programs in the US instead of in Iraq. Either way, I am getting the bill. They both support the NAU, so none of us will have jobs to pay the bills when they come due anyway. There is no real choice out there for us today.

You seem to forget that those lamebrain liberals have to actually win the elections they are running in.
Currently, many of the democrats that put these idiots in office are quite upset with the lack of progress, gross corruption, and blatant stupidity.
Now I am not saying republicans are any better, but there is a much stronger movement in the conservative trend than you would be led to believe. This upcoming presidential and congressional election will display that.

The only major thing I have done is lay out a plan for how all my weapons and ammunition will be "stolen" in the event that the US is led down the civilian disarmament route as many other countries have.

In Australia- the Left Wing is so woefully incompetent (how unusual) that they have no chance of even lasting as an Opposition Party- apparently voters are fed up with Labour (similarly to Dems) and are replacing them with inarticulate teenage KFC rejects- who have much sounder economic policies.

We survived eight years of the first Clinton, I think we'll live thru four years of Her Thighness! The way the dems are self-destructing in congress it looks like Billary will inherit a grid-locked congress anyway so maybe the damage won't be too severe.

relax - a pack of commies couldn't possibly handle things worse than the conservatives handled Katrina . the government of the day declined assistance offered by their communist neighbour - leaving their citizens to rot in filth and squalor with no federal response at all for days . the biggest success the conservatives have managed to achieve is making more of the US look even more like a third world country . even the UN reports were citing that survivors of Katrina often had it worse than the survivors of the boxing tsunamis . you know if you moved to Canada you would be paying taxes to support all kinds of whackpot schemes like public medical facilities - surely that must go against the grain ?
